Azerbaijan University participates in II Turkic World Literature and Book Festival
Azerbaijan university participates with its stand in II Turkic World Literature and Book Festival dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of the national leader Heydar Aliyev. Monographs, textbooks and study guides, scientific journals, conference materials published by Azerbaijan University, as well as the books and teaching aids, special editions of the academic staff are exhibited at the stand. Visitors of the stand are provided with information about presented editions, as well as about Azerbaijan University.
The Festival is organized by the International the Union of Writers of the Turkic World and with support of Azerbaijan Writers Union, Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Culture Committee of Milli Majlis, Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences, Baku City Administration, International Turkic culture and Heritage Foundation, International Turkic Academy, TURKSOY, TURKPA, Yunus Emre Institute, ILESAM and other organizations.
Various publishers take part in the book fair organized as part of the festival. The event will be named every day in honor of one country (Azerbaijan, Turkey, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan and Hungary). At the same time, scientific conferences, poetry hours, autograph days will be organized, children's performances will be demonstrated. For the first time at the festival, films are expected to be screened in the format of a summer cinema. The festival, which will last a week, will host meetings and autograph ceremonies with well-known authors of the Turkic world every day.
