Employees of the International Relations Department of Azerbaijan University Elmira Ismayilova and Sevlan Gurbanova participated in the training organized within the framework of the “ESN Azerbaijan” “Training and Resources for Universities to Strengthen Transnational Partnerships” (TRUST) Project. Chairman of “ESN Azerbaijan” Organization Ali Tagiyev, representative of the Ministry of Science and Education Gunay Jafarzade and head of National Erasmus+ Office in Azerbaijan Parviz Baghirov made a report at the opening of three-day intensive trainings for employees of the structural units responsible for international relations of local higher education institutions and spoke about relevance and importance of the training topics and wished success to the participants.

On the first day of the training, Tea Gergedava, head of the International Relations Department of Tbilisi State University of Georgia, gave information about capacity building projects in higher education. On the second day, Gulden Bulut, an employee of the International Relations Department of Marmara University, Turkey, spoke about the preparation of exchange projects. And on the last day, Iryna Sikorska, head of the Center for International Education of Mariupol State University of Ukraine, discussed with the participants issues of preparing Jean Monnet projects and listened to their opinions and suggestions.

At the end of the trainings organized with the support of Erasmus+ Students and Alumni Alliance /ESAA, all participants were awarded relevant certificates.
