The Internal Quality Assurance Commission held a meeting

The first meeting of the Internal Quality Assurance Commission in its new composition was held at Azerbaijan University, organized by the Quality Assurance Department. The new composition of the Commission includes staff representing academic and administrative personnel, as well as students who are members of the “Quality Ambassadors” Club. Among the academic and administrative staff, the majority consists of specialists who have participated in training sessions of the Education Quality Assurance Agency (TKTA) and in accreditation processes conducted at various higher education institutions.

At the meeting, the educational programs prepared by the Quality Assurance Department for students were discussed, and an exchange of views took place regarding the content, implementation mechanisms, and expected outcomes of the training programs. It was noted that the programs will cover the areas of “Quality, Student-Centered and Outcome-Based Education”, “Professional Life”, and “Individual Entrepreneurship”. The meeting also addressed areas requiring reform in the University’s activities, and the Commission members presented their proposals for strengthening the quality culture and applying sustainable development mechanisms.

Based on the opinions and suggestions of the participants, an action plan for quality assurance for the spring semester of the 2025/2026 academic year was also developed.
