A series of trainings dedicated to the launch and effective implementation of the “E-University Model” has concluded at Azerbaijan University. The trainings, which began in January, aimed to support the transition to the new model and ensure its efficient application. Faculty members from all University departments, administrative staff of the Education Department, deaneries and tutors participated in the program.

The software introduced to enhance the efficiency and quality of the educational process includes features such as electronic management of academic workflows, its monitoring, documentation, accountability, delivery and control of educational content, as well as robust tools for quality assurance and assessment. The system incorporates class schedules and course syllabi. Individual user accounts for instructors and students have been created within the system, and paper-based grade books have been replaced with digital versions. The integration of electronic gradebooks enables automatic calculation of pre-exam scores, including colloquium results, seminar participation, independent assignments, and attendance. It also allows faculty to upload digital versions of teaching materials (lecture notes, presentations, audio and video content, etc.) directly to their personal dashboard. Both instructors and students can access the platform via mobile devices.

It is worth noting that Azerbaijan University will begin full-scale implementation of the E-University Model starting from the 2023/2024 academic year.
