The results of the dean elections were announced at the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology of Azerbaijan University. Elections were held in accordance with “the Rules of holding the positions of Department Head, Dean and Vice-Dean of the Higher Education Institutions” dated November 15, 2017 of the Board of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan. According to the results of the secret ballot, Asif  Pashayev was elected as the dean of the faculty.

We congratulate Mr.Pashayev and wish him success in his administrative and  scientific- pedagogical activities!

Asif Farman Pashayev graduated from Baku State University in 1996. He started his labor activity as an engineer-programmer at the National Aviation Academy at the same year. He worked as a laboratory assistant, scientific worker, teacher, and leading programmer specialist in "Babek", "ACK-1", "Security", "Araz" and other scientific research and design projects implemented by the Scientific Research Institute  until 2006.  He has been working at Azerbaijan University since 2012. He was a senior lecturer at the Department of Mathematics and Informatics in 2012-2016. He was a dean of the Faculty of Information and Communication Technologies in 2016-2018.
