On the initiative and under the organization of the Quality Assurance Department at Azerbaijan University, a training session titled “Effective organization of activities for implementation of learning outcomes” was conducted for the University academic staff. The participants attended a presentation delivered by Samir Salayev, PhD candidate, Director of the Academy of Science and Education, author of educational materials, and a certified international trainer. The interactive training brought together around 50 faculty members of Azerbaijan University.

The program covered key topics such as higher education curriculum, formation of learning outcomes (PTN and FTN), guidelines for working with academic programs, selection of learning assessment methods, and essential aspects of syllabus development. Throughout the session, participants actively engaged by asking questions, sharing practical challenges they had encountered, and exchanging insights with colleagues.

At the end of the training, participants evaluated the training and the trainer based on the following criteria: the extent to which their knowledge of the topic increased, clarity and comprehensibility of the content, adequacy of the training duration for the topic, the trainer’s ability to communicate knowledge effectively, and the trainer’s positive communication style and approach to the group. The training received overwhelmingly positive feedback from attendees.

In addition to their evaluations, participants shared their thoughts and suggestions through a post-training survey, highlighting the topics they would like to see addressed in future sessions. All collected suggestions will be reviewed by the Training Center and integrated into the training plan for the 2025/2026 academic year.
