Azerbaijan University hosted an infosession on the third round of the “Maarifchi” graduate student internship program, implemented at the initiative of the Ministry of Science and Education with the support of the Education Development Fund. During the event, students were informed about the nature and significance of infosession, and the terms and conditions for joining the program were explained.

The session was conducted by Mashallah Safarov, a lecturer from the Department of Economics and Management at the University. He noted that the primary goal of the “Maarifchi” program is to provide students and recent graduates with practical experience, enhance their knowledge and skills, apply theoretical knowledge in a real work environment, and help young people acquire professional competencies.

Participants were given detailed information about the application and selection process, eligibility requirements, program stages, and the opportunities offered to interns. It was noted that final-year undergraduate students, citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan currently enrolled in a master’s program, and those who have graduated within the past three years are eligible to apply. Selected participants will have the opportunity to intern in various structural units of the Ministry of Science and Education, as well as its affiliated institutions and regional education departments. It was noted that final-year undergraduate students, those studying at the master's level, and those who have graduated within the last 3 years who are citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan can apply to the program. Selected participants will have the opportunity to intern in various structural units of the Ministry of Science and Education, as well as its affiliated institutions and regional education departments. The program, which includes components such as recruitment and selection, mentoring, production practice, training and development, assessment and placement, covers areas such as data analytics, project management, educational organization and management, administrative management, economics, finance. One of the program’s objectives is to facilitate the employment of high-performing participants.

The session concluded with a Q&A segment, during which students questions were addressed.
