All Stakeholders Engaged in the Development of Master`s Degree Programs
Azerbaijan University held the first meeting of the working group established for the development of master's degree programs The meeting was attended by Nushaba Guliyeva, Advisor to the Rector and Director of the International Center for Master’s and Doctoral Studies, PhD in History, Associate Professor, along with employees of the center, including Lala Abbasova, Head of the Quality Assurance Department, Leyla Aghamalieva, Head of the Education Department, and other department heads.
Opening the meeting, the Rector's Advisor, Director of the International Center for Master’s and Doctoral Studies Nushaba Guliyeva emphasized that the upcoming period would focus on updating master's programs, developing modern, student-centered curricula based on learning outcomes that align with international standards and labor market demands. The Ministry of Science and Education has involved all higher education institutions of the country in this process, establishing working groups in universities across the country, including Azerbaijan University. She highlighted that designing programs within the University-Industry Collaboration framework, involving all key stakeholders – academic staff, business representatives, and students – has become a necessity.
Additionally, Nushaba Guliyeva provided insights into the organization and coordination of the working groups, outlining the upcoming tasks, procedures for preparation and submisson of reports.
Following her address, working group members shared their proposals, engaging in an exchange of ideas and discussions on the topic.
