Department of Social Sciences Director, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor Gabil Aliyev attended the meeting of President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva with representatives of the public of Fuzuli region.

At the meeting, representatives of the local community thanked President Ilham Aliyev and the Azerbaijani Army, and expressed confidence that under his leadership, our people will continue to achieve great victories.

It was also noted that the scale, intensity and speed of the restoration and construction work in Karabakh show that the strategic goal of a great return will be achieved in the near future.

During his visit to the Fizuli region, President Ilham Aliyev laid the foundations of the Fuzuli-Agdam highway and a new "smart village" in the village of Dovletyarli, which was destroyed during the occupation.

The head of state laid the foundation stone of the Fuzuli Memorial Complex and the city of Fuzuli.
