The Student Education Loan Fund conducted an educational session for students of Azerbaijan University who are enrolled on a paid basis. During the session, Gunay Khalilova, a senior specialist in the Fund’s Department for working with educational institutions, delivered a presentation on the institution’s purpose, the Fund’s areas of activity, rules for applying for student loans, the registration process, types of student loans, and criteria for issuance. 

In her presentation, Gunay Khalilova explained the loan requirements to interested students and answered their questions. 

It should be noted that the Student Education Loan Fund was established under the Ministry of Science and Education by decree of President Ilham Aliyev. The Fund’s mission is to expand access to education, ensure its affordability, and create equal opportunities in education. The issuance of student loans began in November 2021. To date, Azerbaijan University has submitted 1,200 applications to the Fund; 384 students have received social loans, and 585 students have received standard loans.
