Final-year students specializing in Philology (Azerbaijani Language and Literature) and Philology (English Language and Literature), who have begun their professional internship at “Ulduz” magazine at Azerbaijan University, had the opportunity to meet with Gasham Najafzade, a member of the Board of the Union of Azerbaijani Writers, Head of the Children's Literature Department, and Head of the Poetry Department at “Azerbaijan” magazine. The meeting, organized by Gulu Agses, the Editor-in-Chief of “Ulduz” magazine, took place at the Natavan Club. During the event, students were introduced to the life and literary works of Gasham Najafzade, his contributions to modern Azerbaijani literature, and the key themes explored in his poetry. It was noted that the poet has published nearly 40 books, 18 of which have been released internationally. His poems have been translated into more than 20 languages.

Expressing his pleasure at meeting the students, Gasham Najafzade recited some of his poems and engaged in a Q&A session with the attendees.

The meeting also featured participation from Khayala Jafarova, the internship supervisor, senior lecturer at the Department of Translation and Philology, and Ph.D. in Philology, as well as Taleh Mansur, an Azerbaijan University graduate and poet.
