Rasul Dadashov, chairman of the Student Youth Organization (SYO) of Azerbaijan University, was elected as the Chairman of the Year of the SYO by the Union of Student Youth Organizations of Azerbaijan (USYOA). The SYO Chairman was honored with this title for exemplary participation in the organization and implementation of socially significant activities, including volunteer work in the country in 2023 - during the “Year of Heydar Aliyev”. Deputy Chairman of the organization Khalid Gafarov was awarded by USYOA in the nomination “SYO representative of the year” for his active participation in the organization of events and overall activity.

The awards were presented to our students at the Republican Forum of Student Youth Organizations held on the occasion of “February 2 – Day of Azerbaijani Youth”.

It should be noted that the Student Youth Organization of Azerbaijan University was founded in 2006. Awarding Rasul Dadashov with the title of “Chairman of the Year of the Student Youth Organization” is the first in the history of the University.
