Winter exams of the 2016-2017 academic year have been completed in Azerbaijan University. Examinations were held by the command of the rector of Azerbaijan University based on the order of the Minister of Education on the conduct of examinations.

“Operational comittee” was dealing with organizing, monitoring and completing examinations, as well as handling potential problems and complaints, and conducting examinations in accordance with the regulations.

All measures have been taken to ensure objective and transparent evaluation of students’ knowledge. The monitoring of examinations was held through cameras installed in classrooms.

During exam period, 452 undergarduate and 32 graduate examinations were held. Appeals commission received 253 applications, which were considered and dealt with in an appropriate manner.

Make-up examinations were held for students having missed their exams for serious reasons.

Spring term of 2016-2017 academic year will start on 16 February, 2017.
