Azerbaijan University has started cooperation with the world's leading tourism group TUI. The memorandum of cooperation was signed by the rector of the University Saadat Aliyeva and the Turkish representative of the group, the head of TUI Hotels & Resorts Turkey Sati Murat Demirer. The director of the Baku Yunus Emre Institute Selcuk Karakilich attended at the the meeting, as well.

The memorandum provides for cooperation between the the two parts in the field of education and career. According to the agreement, students studying tourism, business and economics at Azerbaijan University will be provided with jobs in tourism enterprises operating under the auspices of TUI Hotels & Resorts Turkey. Both undergraduate and graduate students will be able to take advantage of this opportunity. Employment will be carried out at the request of students and in accordance with the staffing needs of enterprises.

The memorandum also envisages supporting the academic staff to conduct research in the company's tourism enterprises.

It should be noted that the Turkish representative of TUI Group, which has 30 years of experience in the field of tourism, is in Antalya, the center of TUI Hotels & Resorts Turkey. The company comprises 21 hotels.
