International Summer School has started at Azerbaijan University

The opening ceremony  of summer school organized by Azerbaijan University together with Koblenz University in Germany and Tbilisi State University named after Ivan Javakishvili in Georgia was held.  

The topic of  the Summer School  which will last a week  will be dedicated  to “Leadership and Employment: Skills for the Global Labor Market ”. Students and instructors from Baku Engineering and Azerbaijan State Economic University were invited to the Summer School.

The opening ceremony was attended by the Vice-Rector of the University of Azerbaijan, Professor. Yusif Gasimov, Head of International Relations Department Bakhtiyar Badalov, trainers prof. Magdalena Stulb and Dr. Gabriel Wolf wished success to the summer school.

At the opening ceremony, participants were informed about the Azerbaijan University and its international relations. It was noted that the participants will gain knowledge of the economy, business and culture in Azerbaijan from a global perspective. They will be taught the knowledge and skills required by the faculty of the Summer School partners on how companies operate in Azerbaijan and for leadership and employment in the global labor market. Participants will take part in training and group work on the topic.

Following the opening, the trainings started. During the day prof. Rovshan Guliyev  trained on the topic “Business Organization in Azerbaijan”, Dr. Gabriel Wolf "International labor market: employment status  in Germany", prof. Magdalena Stulb on “Synergy Initiatives in Groups with Different Cultural Carriers”. At the end of the day, the participants will be divided into working groups and make project choices. The projects will be implemented by Summer School partners Atabank, Central Kinik Hospital, Excelsior Hotel and Social Rights Research Public Union.
It should be noted that during the week, working groups will visit foreign companies and Sumgait Industrial Park.

A welcome ceremony was held for the participants and trainers of the Summer School, which was attended by 20 students from Germany, Georgia and Azerbaijan. They were on a walking tour with the guide and traveled to the Gobustan Nature Reserve.
