The last webinar in May was held in Azerbaijan University by the Department of  Mathematics and Information Technology. The topic on “Evaluation in Distance Learning” was discussed in  the online event.

Gabil Aliyev, the Head of the Department, stated that  during the coronavirus pandemics,  an exident task  of educational service  is to provide  study continuity. Millions of teachers and students not only in our country, but also all over the world have unexpectedly become the participants of  remote education process. Organization of online learning process is as important as knowledge evaluation of the students participating in the process.

Gunduz Mirzabaily, the teacher of  the department, gave a talk on problems arising during organisation of  the distance learning, difficulties of remote teaching of some subjects and presented  evaluation forms during distance learning.

Asif Pashayev, the Dean of Information and Communication Technologies Faculty, talked about the tools of  " Office 365” cloud service and explained the operating  principle  of the “Planner” tool.

Gabil Aliyev, the Head of  Mathematics and Information Technology Department, talked on the operating rules of the service on “Forms”.

At the end, those who joined  the webinar carried out  practical work led by  the Head of the Department.

It should be mentioned that  during the quarantine ,educational process and activities of Azerbaijan University were held over “Microsoft Teams” platform of  “Office 365” service.
