The 4th Republican Scientific Conference of Young researchers was held at the Azerbaijan University

The conference was organized online via the zoom platform in accordance with the current extreme conditions.

Opening the conference, prorector for Scientific Affairs, professor Yusif Gasimov said that more than 100 theses were accepted for the conference and thanked the authors for submitting their scientific results to the University of Azerbaijan.

The prorector noted that the traditional scientific conference of young researchers coincides with a very significant period this year.

Azerbaijan University, which is coeval with the restoration of the state independence of Azerbaijan, is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year. Azerbaijan University, which has a special place in the field of higher education of our country, is always focused on higher goals.

Another significant event is the great military victory of our people in the Great Patriotic War. After this victory, renovation in the economic and political sphere, construction and a great period of return has begun, which poses great challenges to Azerbaijani education and science.

The way to succeed in this phase is to cope with these tasks.

The plenary speaker of the conference scientific secretary of the service of the vice-president of ANAS, leading researcher of the Institute of Folklore,

doctor of philosophy in Philology, assistant professor Hikmet Guliyev made a speech on "Azerbaijani folklore in the face of a new scientific paradigm and realities: the problem of Internet folklore." The plenary report is devoted to the study and analysis of the peculiarities of folklore in the virtual environment, changes in folklore in the context of the development of information and communication technologies, new traditions and conducts, as well as folklore processes on the Internet. The plenary report was followed by presentations of theses submitted by young researchers from various universities, academies and research institutes of the country in the fields of economics, humanities, social sciences and ICT.

The conference ended with discussions on the presented works.

The materials submitted to the conference were published in the form of collection.
