Professor Erdal Bay, one of the coordinators of the "Turkish World Digital Citizenship" project, dean of the Faculty of Tourism of Gaziantep University of Turkey, visited Azerbaijan University. In the meeting attended by Yusif Gasimov, Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs, Doctor of Sciences in Mathematics, Head of the Department of Social Work Organization, project coordinator at Azerbaijan University, Tunzala Verdiyeva, Doctor of Philosophy in Pedagogy, and Konul Mammadova, the country coordinator of the project, the students' interest and attendance in the project, as well as the previous study The topics taught in 2018 and the professionalism of the academic staff were discussed, as well as future work within the project.

It should be noted that the "Turkish World Digital Citizenship" project is implemented under the coordination of Kyrgyzstan-Turkey "Manas" University and Turkey's Gaziantep University. Within the framework of the project, the subject "Digital Citizenship of the Turkish World" has been taught as an elective subject for two semesters in partner universities. The project was hosted by Kyrgyzstan-Turkey "Manas" University in the fall semester of the 2021/2022 academic year, and Amasya University in the spring semester.

Azerbaijan University joined the "Digital Citizenship of the Turkish World" project in 2021. 30 students of the university in the autumn semester and 207 students in the spring semester joined the classes organized on the "Zoom" platform.
