Employees of Azerbaijan University participated in the international "Artemis" congress of social, health, and sports sciences held in Izmir, Türkiye. At the event organized in a hybrid format from September 10 to 12, Nushaba Guliyeva, advisor to the rector, and head of the International Master's and Doctoral Center spoke on the topic of "Strategic cooperation of the Republic of Azerbaijan with the Russian Federation". The report of Professor Gabil Aliyev, Head of the Department of Social Sciences, was devoted to "Restoration and construction works in Karabakh and East Zangezur during the post-conflict period", while the report of the teacher of the department, Rena Asadova, was devoted to the topic "Ethno-demographic changes in Ganja Governorate during the First World War".

Note that representatives from 20 different countries, including Türkiye, Spain, Azerbaijan, and North Macedonia, participated in the international event.
