The next meeting was organized in Ganja within the framework of the Erasmus+ project called "Establishment of the Azerbaijan Conference of Rectors" (ECAR), in which Azerbaijan University is a partner. The meeting of the Project’s Internationalization Committee was held at Azerbaijan Technological University. At the meeting, the new Chairman and deputies of the committee were elected.

The meeting of the Project’s Internationalization Committee was held at Azerbaijan Technological University. At the meeting, the new Chairman and deputies of the committee were elected.

Another meeting was held at Azerbaijan State Agricultural University and discussions were held on the future activities of the committee. Zafar Gurbanov, the rector of this higher school, spoke at the event and emphasized the importance of the ECAR project in terms of studying international advanced practice in the field of education and strengthening cooperation between higher education institutions. 

After the meeting, the participants got acquainted with material and technical base of Azerbaijan State Agricultural University, laboratories, a student park, indoor and outdoor fish farming laboratories, greenhouse complex, and experimental livestock breeding center, including the conditions created for students.

It should be noted that the Head of the International Relations Department, Elmira Ismayilova, and her colleague Sevlan Gurbanova represented Azerbaijan University at these events. The Project is coordinated by Baku Business University with financial support from the European Commission. The key goal of the ECAR Project is to establish a national network and collaboration among universities and other stakeholders by arranging a rectors' conference in line with national development strategies. 20 Azerbaijani and 5 European higher education institutions and organizations participate in the Project.
