A seminar was held on "Writing rules and format of articles published in indexed databases" by the professor of the department, Mr. Azad Mammadov on the initiative of the Department of Translation and Philology of Azerbaijan University. The issues of preparing and submitting scientific articles to the standards required for publication in high-index journals were discussed in the seminar. The seminar covered the topics of annotation of the scientific article, reference, preparation of the writing style according to the requirements of the journal, as well as the complete and correct writing of references in accordance with the requirements of the journal.

At the end, Mr. Azad Mammadov answered the questions of the seminar participants.
