With organizational support of the Mediation Council, a meeting was held at Azerbaijan University with students majoring in Social Work. The Mediation Council was represented at the event by Baku Mediation Organization № 15.

The event was opened by welcoming speech of Nigar Shahhuseynbeyova, head of the Department of Social Work Organization. Head of the department informed the students about the mediation reforms carried out in our country and the establishment of the Mediation Council.

Then, the founder and director of Baku Mediation Organization № 15 Gasim Shaliyev made a report on “Conflicts in the business environment: alternative methods and models”. The report provided detailed information on what is the dispute, the factors that create and increase conflict in the business environment, the alternativeness of dispute resolution ways, brought to the attention of students the tasks of the mediator and the importance of mediation.

The event ended with students' questions being answered.
