Training on modern training techniques has been held for teachers

Training on "Modern Interactive Training Methods" has been held for the teachers at Azerbaijan University. The training organized within the framework of “Promoting Excellence in Teaching and Learning in Azerbaijani Universities” PETRA project was conducted by Advisor to the rector of Azerbaijan University Ali Hasanov, Head of International Relations Department Bakhtiyar Badalov, Dean of School of Social Work Aygun Musayeva and Monitoring and Evaluation Specialist Elchin Jafarov.

The information about the purpose, partners and stages of the project was given in the training. Classical and contemporary teaching methods were compared to each other. The participants were informed about the learning types and data transfer methods. It was noted that, in modern education system, the teacher is expected to be a facilitator, not just a lecturer.

In the end, detailed information was presented on each of the modern interactive training techniques, and it was mentioned that these techniques have a positive impact on the teaching effectiveness.
