New tutorials of Professor Asif Hajiyev were published in Russia

New textbooks by professor of Azerbaijan University Asif Hajiyev for students of higher educational institutions have been published in the Russian Federation. In a teaching aid entitled “Russian prose at the turn of the 20th and 21st centuries. Main Directions and Currents”, intended for bachelors and masters majoring in philology, the historical typology of modern Russian prose at the turn of the two centuries, the theme and motives, the general characteristics of the modern literary process and the main trends in its development, including neorealism, mass and network literature, modernism and postmodernism, as well as Russian postmodernism in the Azerbaijani context, post-intellectualism, "women's prose" and other trends, the theoretical and epistemological concepts of the literature of this period were clarified, analytical information was given on themes, bilingualism and Russian-speaking, the Turkish method in Russian prose was touched upon. Step-by-step methodological instructions for teaching the course for teachers, lectures and practical lesson plans have been added to the training manual.

The second book is devoted to an important event in the literary process of the Russian people and the peoples of the post-Soviet period, the creation of mythopoetic prose. In the textbook entitled "Russian prose of the second half of the twentieth century. Issues of mythopoetics” considered the creative typology of Russian prose of the second half of the last century, the ideological and aesthetic content and artistic features in the mythopoetic aspect. The first chapter of the textbook talks about the methodological problems of mythopoetic analysis, the second chapter gives an appropriate interpretation of theoretical issues, such concepts as author, image, composition, plot, chronotope, genre. The third chapter of the textbook, devoted to poetic issues, explores the role of elements of myth and folklore, traditional semantic universals and plot invariants in the work of such prominent Russian writers as B.M. Shukshin, V.I. Belov, V.P. Astafiev, V. G. Rasputin, Y.V.Trifonov, F.A.Abramov, B.F.Tendrakov, V.S.Makanin, A.A.Kim, V.V.Orlov, on the basis of mythopoetic interpretation, a semantic description is given that differs from traditional sociological relations in the works

of these writers. A bibliography and creative questions for reflection and discussion have been added to each section of this chapter.

For the first time in the research practice of higher education and philology in Russia, the Azerbaijani context in modern Russian literature was included in the textbook, sections of education corresponding to the national mentality and the modern socio-cultural environment in Azerbaijani schools were included. At the same time, in a special section of the manual of large volume, for the first time, based on the analysis of specific works of Russian-speaking writers of Turkish origin, the presence and artistic originality of the original "Turkish method" in modern Russian prose is recorded.

The annotation of the publishing house noted that both books were written in accordance with the requirements of the state standards of higher education of the Russian Federation and are intended for bachelors and masters in philology. The textbooks were published on the initiative and at the expense of the Higher Education Publishing House, which specializes in the production of educational resources for higher educational institutions of the Russian Federation. It should be noted that earlier in Russia, Turkey, Germany and Iran, two monographs and three textbooks by Professor Asif Hajiyev on Russian literature were published.
