Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs of Azerbaijan University, r.e.d. Yusif Gasimov made a report at the weekly international scientific seminar "Analysis and Applied Mathematics". At the seminar, the Vice-Rector informed about the problems of special numbers in the variable area, the inverse spectral problem with respect to the area and the results obtained in such areas, their application to some mechanical systems and answered questions addressed to him during the discussions.

Allaberen Ashyralyev, a well-known mathematician, professor of Bahcesehir University, Near East University, Khalglar Dostlugu University and the Institute of Mathematics and Mathematical Modeling, led the weekly seminar organized by the ZOOM platform and attended by more than 120 scientists from about 30 countries.

The seminar was established to fill the gaps in the organization of international scientific conferences, seminars and other meetings during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2021, to ensure continuity of scientific contacts between researchers, to provide a platform for demonstration and discussion of new results.
