The next meeting of the recitation club “Voice of Books” organized by the Department of Translation and Philology was held. “Metamorphosis” by Jewish writer Franz Kafka and "The Little Prince" by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry who were the prominent representatives of XX-century literature were analyzed and discussed at the meeting,

The members of the club joined this meeting wearing special clothes with the name and logo of the recitation club on the initiative of the head of the translation and philology department, associate professor Samira Mammadova and the head of the club Emiliya Aliyeva.

Firstly, the students talked about the life and creativity of Franz Kafka and Antoine de Saint-Exupéry both in English and in Azerbaijani, then analyzed the mentioned works in both languages.

At the end, the works were selected for the next meeting discussion and the tasks on these topics were given to the students.

It should be noted that the creativity and works of famous writers of Azerbaijan and the world are regularly analyzed both in Azerbaijani and in English. Thus, students have the opportunity to get acquainted with a large number of examples of literature at the end of the academic year.
