Employees of the Center for Assistance to Victims of Human Trafficking of the Social Services Agency under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of Population gave a lecture to students of the University of Azerbaijan majoring in social work. The guest lecturers on "Social work with victims of human trafficking" were Habiba Garibova, director of the Center for Assistance to Victims of Human Trafficking under the Ministry of Labor and Social Protection of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Gunel Efendiyeva, sociologist and Ulvi Zeynalov, psychologist.

Employees of the Aid Center informed about the activities of the center, explained the relevance of the topic "Cases of human trafficking and forced labor crimes", the concepts of human trafficking and forced labor. After the theoretical information, the students performed group work on the topic, and each group was presented and discussed.

At the end, the guests answered students' questions and educational materials on the fight against human trafficking were distributed. In conclusion, the head of the Department of Social Work Tunzala Verdiyeva stressed the importance of such events for students. It should be noted that the meeting was held in accordance with the Action Plan of the "National Action Plan to Combat Human Trafficking in the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2020-2024" approved by the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan No. 2173 dated July 22, 2020.
