The students of Azerbaijan University have completed the VII national knowledge contest "Heydar Aliyev and the history of Azerbaijan" held at the Heydar Aliyev Center in the top ten - the eighth place. This year, the project, organized by the Heydar Aliyev Center and supported by the Ministry of Education, was attended by teams from 48 universities.

The questions covered the national leader of Azerbaijan - Heydar Aliyev's life, multifaceted activities, and his heritage. In addition, the history of the Patriotic War and victory in the liberation of our lands from Armenian occupation under the leadership of President Ilham Aliyev. Representatives of the Heydar Aliyev Center, the Ministry of Education, and the Institute of History of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences were on the jury.

The project, implemented annually since 2014, aims to study the life and activities of national leader Heydar Aliyev, preserve the legacy of the great leader and promote it among young people, as well as increase the interest of the younger generation in science and educational competitions. This year's competition is also dedicated to the glorious victory in the Great Patriotic War.
