Association of Professional Financial Managers of Azerbaijan (APFM), a professional accounting organization, held the presentation of ICB/ICFM international training programs for students studying Finance and Accounting major of the Faculty of Business and Economics. Opening the event, Dean of the Faculty Khanym Guliyeva gave brief information to students about the organization's activities. Dean noted that the professional accounting organization APFM, founded in 2007, actively participates in projects related to transition to international financial reporting standards and currently successfully continues its activities as the country's leading professional organization with international accreditation.

Then the Chairman of APFM Board Nuriyya Novruzova, members of the Education Committee Zergalam Isayeva and Afgan Safarli informed students in detail about importance and advantages of professional accountant certificates, the trainings with international status provided by the organization, preparation for international certification exams, professional membership, internship opportunities in APFM corporate membership organizations and other issues. 

At the end of the event, a slide presentation prepared by APFM was demonstrated and students' questions were answered.
