Student Youth Organization of Azerbaijan University (SYOAU)  is one of the first established student youth organizations in the country.  Having been established in 2006, SYOAU is among the most active and leading organizations. The role of SYOAU is to enforce government youth policy, present and defend the students’ interests and organize their leisure time effectively  and enlighten  students. 

These activities done by SYOAU were mentioned in the event devoted in 10th anniversary of Student Youth Organizations of Azerbaijan University. The authorities  of the University; Samir Kazimov, the representative of Baku Head Office of Youth and Sport Affairs; Nigar Suleymanli, the chief consultant of Azerbaijan Student Youth Organizations' Union; nearly 200 members of SYO and other guests have taken part in the event. The participants were informed about the activities of SYO for recent ten years and the guests congratulated the members of Student Youth Organization in the event as well.  Some members of the organization were rewarded for  their active participation during these years. 

The anniversary event  came to an end with entertaining program.
