Victory webinars of Azerbaijan University is contuniung. The next vebinar is dedicated to the topic of "Karabakh is our destiny" and was organized by the Department of Azerbaijani Language and Literature. At the event held on the Microsoft Teams platform, the memory of our martyrs who gave their lives for the restoration of the territorial integrity of Azerbaijan was commemorated with a minute of silence, and the Department staff’s speeches were heard.

The head of the department Ulviya Rahimova congratulated the participants on the victory of our triumphant army under the leadership of Supreme Commander-in-Chief Ilham Aliyev. The head of the department noted that the Azerbaijani youth overcame a great historical test, showed love for the homeland on the battlefield, avenged 30 years of injustice on the battlefield.

Professor of the department Asif Hajiyev said that the Azerbaijani people united as a fist in the 44-day Patriotic War. The Azerbaijani youth went to war with great enthusiasm to protect the territorial integrity of our country, successfully fulfilled the assigned combat missions and served the Motherland with dignity. Asif Hajiyev noted that after the victory, the

intellectuals have a great responsibility to continue this high patriotic spirit, to keep the historical memory awake. We must know the past, understand the present and see the future.

In his speech, associate professor of the department Farhad Madatov informed about the works written on the Karabakh conflict and the events surrounding it. Farhad Madatov noted that Azerbaijani literature often referred to the Karabakh issue and many works were published. Now, Azerbaijani literature must be adjusted into new spirit , to praise the Azerbaijani soldier who showed courage in Karabakh.

Ulviyya Aliyeva, associate professor of the department, noted that the leadership-army-people's unity is the greatest factor of military victory in Karabakh, this brilliant victory was achieved due to the determination of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, people's trust and solidarity, diplomacy and courage of Azerbaijani soldiers. We must now work hard to keep this union permanent.
