Azerbaijan University offers Computer Engineering to I major group applicants

The State Examination Centre (SEC) will hold the admission exam on the I and IV major groups on May 12.

Enrolee Consultation Centre of Azerbaijan University wishes successes to all applicants who will sit the admission examination.

Azerbaijan University offers Computer Engineering to I major group applicants. This subject belongs to the faculty of Information and Communication Technologies.

Computer Engineering is a kind of engineering related to designing, production, application and controlling of computers and computer-related machines. It is also a subject enables ones to deeply learn about hardware and software system of computers. The main duties of computer engineers are designing, planning, setting, testing, managing and optimization of automated systems and computer networks,

The lessons are held in fully equipped computer labs and are supported by theoretical knowledge and practical skills.

You approach the Enrolee Consultation Centre of Azerbaijan University operating at 71, Jeyhun Hajibeyli street, Nasimi district in Baku in order to get detailed information about career perspectives of the major of Computer engineering. The Centre has been established according to the agreement between the University and the State Examination Centre and operates free of charge for students from  10.00 a.m to 05.00 p.m on working days (except Saturdays, Sundays and on public holidays).

Applicants and their parents can participate in Open Doors Days from 10.00 a.m to 04.00 p.m on Fridays to see the material and technical basis, auditoriums and labs where the lessons are held of Azerbaijan University and address their questions to university staff and faculty members.

Achievements of the students of the faculty of ICT:

3rd place in the International Championship with the project of “ Controlling of electricity consumption (Savefy)” in the nomination of “Internet of things”;

2nd place in the “Game Jam” competition dedicated to the 3D games, 3D simulation and computer graphics with the game called “Mirror Man”.

3r place in robot competition named “Line follower” held among university students within the framework of “  Makers’ Day” event.
