The traditional scientific conference "Gender Problems and Modern Azerbaijan", organized by Azerbaijan University for the third time, will be held internationally this time. The interest and attention paid to the republican conference held in 2017 and 2018 influenced the decision process. The main purpose of the event is to promote gender equality in Azerbaijan, to share scientific achievements and experience in this area, to analyze existing problems and to make proposals for their solutions, to compare the country's achievements in this field with international experience.

The preparations for the event on November 27, 2019 are underway. The deadline for submitting articles to the international conference is October 28, 2019.

The conference will focus on gender and history, gender aspects of religion, gender issues in modern society, gender democracy in Azerbaijan, gender aspect of economic theory, legal aspects of gender studies, gender and culture, gender problem in our literature and so on.

Representatives of universities, corresponding institutes of ANAS, non-governmental organizations, the press, embassies and foreign scientists and researchers are expected to participate in the international conference.
