Azerbaijan University holds an international conference together with Liepaja University of Latvia

Liepaja University of Latvia will host the 2nd International Conference “Innovations and Creativity” on April 5-7, 2018. Conference will be organized in five sections: Mathematics, Computer sciences, Technologies in Education, Material and eco-sciences, Art.

Fortunately Azerbaijan University is the co-organizer of this conference. Vice-Rector for Scientific Affairs of the University, Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences, Professor Yusif Gasimov was elected as a member of the program committee of the conference.

The event is the first international scientific conference outside the country organized by Azerbaijan University. Being selected as a co-organizer in such a prestigious event is an indication of the growing international reputation of Azerbaijan University as a scientific and educational institution.

The deadline for submitting 1-page theses to the conference is January 31, 2018, and the deadline for submitting extended (up to 8 pages) articles is February 28, 2018. The selected articles of the conference will be published in the journal "Baltic Journal of Modern Computing" in the Thomson Reuter database.

Notice that being one of the Latvia's largest universities, Liepaja University has been operating since 1954. Liepaja University is accredited state higher educational establishment, which implements study programs at all three study levels: (basic studies, Master and Doctorate studies) in more than 30 directions and programs: humanities and arts; exact sciences, mathematics and information technology; service; social sciences and entrepreneurship; social work and pedagogy. About 2000 students study at 4 faculties. The university has more than 20000 graduates.
