Azerbaijan University is one of the co-organizers of the IV European Economic Congress, which will be held in Kocaeli University in November. Other partners of the prestigious international event, which will take place on November 15-17, are Kocaeli University of Turkey and WSB University of Poland.

Rector of Azerbaijan University Saadat Aliyeva was elected as one of the honorary chairpersons of the organizing committee. Vice Rector for Science Yusif Gasimov and professor of the university Rovshan Guliyev are members of the science committee of the event, Dean of the Faculty of Business and Economics Ali Hasanov and Head of Science Department Latifa Agamaliyeva are the members organizing committee of the event.

The plenary sessions of prominent scientists from different countries of the world on current issues of modern economics will be listened and discussions will be held at various sessions.

The first international event from this series was held in March 2017 and dedicated to youth employment issues. About 300 participants from 30 countries were involved in this event. The second congress, organized in November of the same year, with nearly 200 researchers from 18 countries, covered areas such as energy and environment, migration, health, agriculture, Islamic economics, secret economics, information economy, construction and tourism.

The participants of the III European Economic Congress in Poland discussed the results of their research on the world economy and economic growth.

The fifth of the international event is planned to be held at Azerbaijan University in 2019
