A manual entitled "British children's folklore: Poetry" consisting of articles and translations of folk lyrics by rector of Azerbaijan University Saadat Aliyeva and professor Shahin Khalilli has been published.

The manual includes original texts of British children's poems and songs selected from various English and American publications, their translations from English into Azerbaijani, as well as scientific and literary essays and

comments on the poems of the legendary poet and other publications known as "Mother Goose". The history of British literature, especially children's folklore and poetry, which is one of its important fields, was studied and poems were analyzed.

The manual entitled "British children's folklore: Poetry" is intended for undergraduate students of philology and education faculties of universities of the Republic.
