Traditional chess tournament of Azerbaijan University will be held on December 7, 2017. All students of Azerbaijan University have rights to participate in the competition, which will be contested on the Olympic system by the participants.

The tournament, dedicated to the memory of national leader Heydar Aliyev, is being held for the fifth time this year. The competition is organized for the purpose of effective organization of students’ leisure time and increase popularity of chess.

The winners will also receive valuable prizes along with the diploma and trophy. The winners of the tournament will be rewarded as follows:

• I place - Smartfon (Samsung Galaxy J1)
• II place – Tablet (Alcatel One Touch Pixi 4)
• III place - Mobile powered device (MI Q/320281DHR01 5000 mAh)
