Today, Azerbaijan University together with the Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics of Ukraine is hosting an international conference on "Information Security: Problems and Prospects." The conference was organized online through the zoom platform in accordance with the traditions of the pandemic.

At the opening of the international event, rector of Azerbaijan University Saadat Aliyeva addressing the conference participants wished success to the conference. The rector noted that the university has been implementing cooperation programs in the field of information and communication technologies with Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics since 2019, which has serious success and traditions not only in Ukraine but also in the region. According to the memorandum signed between the parties, an international joint dual degree program covering computer engineering and computer science is applied. A joint training and research laboratory on information security, equipped with modern technical equipment, has been launched today. Today's joint international conference is a logical continuation of productive cooperation between universities and is dedicated to a very topical issue. The cooperation will cover new areas in the future.

Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics was represented at the opening by Vice-Rector for Science and Innovation Murad Omarov. The vice-rector noted that the staff of Kharkov University, which has a serious infrastructure, human resources and experience in information security, is participating in the conference with 12 reports. Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics is very pleased with the cooperation with Azerbaijan University and wants to expand in new areas.

It was noted at the opening that the Republic Day was celebrated in Turkey today, and on behalf of the leadership and staff of Azerbaijan University, congratulations and best wishes were expressed to the friendly and brotherly country.
