The action plan of Azerbaijan University for the "Year of Volunteers" was approved in accordance with the decree of President Ilham Aliyev on declaring 2020 the "Year of Volunteers" in the Republic of Azerbaijan.

According to the action plan, various projects, events and meetings, knowledge and sports competitions will be organized during the year in order to promote volunteerism. Appropriate measures will be taken to support and encourage volunteer students’ initiatives.

It should be noted that the Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan dated December 30, 2019 on the "Year of Volunteers" aims to promote the personal development of young people, to increase their sense of social responsibility, and effectively use the potential of youth for the welfare of the people and sustainable development of our country.
