The autumn semester exam session of the 2018/2019 academic year has been completed at Azerbaijan University. The session was held between January 3 and February 6.

The session was organized in accordance with the order of the Minister of Education on the examination session, including the orders of the rector of Azerbaijan University. “Examination center” functioned to organize the session based on existing normative documents, to solve and immediately eliminate negative circumstances, conflicts and complaints that arise in the organization and conduct of exams, to ensure transparency and objectivity in assessing students' knowledge and the Appeals Commission operated to re-evaluate students' knowledge and to resolve disputes that occurred during the examination.

Measures were taken to investigate each complaint promptly submitted to the “Examination center”. The appeals submitted to the Appeals Commission were reviewed on a case-by-case basis and the students' mistakes were explained one by one. Public and parental involvement were facilitated to ensure transparency in the exams.

Exams were held in auditoriums equipped with surveillance cameras. The results were announced shortly after the completion of the exam

Additional examinations were organized for students who could not participate in the examinations for excusable reasons. Second attempt exams were held from February 4 to February 6.
