“Spring Tournament of Chess and Checkers” was held at Azeraijan University. Being held for the second time, the students from all Schools and courses as well as the teachers and  administrative staff who are interested in chess and checkers  have taken part in the tournament. According to the results of the tournament, the first, second and third place winners have been awarded the diploma, the winners of the competition  have been awarded the Cup.

In the tournament  Vugar Mammadov became the winner in chess, but Kenan Khalafov became in checkers.  Ilgar Iskenderov got the second place in both games. The tournament held among the teachers and administrative staff will finish tomorrow.

• 1st place- Vugar Mammadov, The School of Business and Economics (Finance, 3rd  course)
• 2nd place – Ilgar Iskenderov, The School of Business and Economics (Management, 4th course)
• 3rd place – Rovshen Saatov, The School of Business and Economics (Finance, 1st course)

Winners of Checkers Tournament:

• 1st place –Kenan Khalafov, The School of Social work (Social work, 4th course)
• 2nd place –Ilgar Iskenderov, The School of Business and Economics (Management, 4th course)
• 3rd place – Azad Bagirzadeh, The School of Business and Economics (State and Municipal Management, 2nd course)
