The documentary film "The Great leader", which was produced on the initiative of the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Azerbaijan Republic and which was dedicated to the 50th anniversary of national leader Heydar Aliyev's coming to power, and the song with the same name were demonstrated at Azerbaijan University.

Opening the event, vice-rector for Scientific Affairs of Azerbaijan University, Professor Yusif Gasimov said that the event was organized to ensure the implementation of the State Program "Youth of Azerbaijan in 2017-2021" approved by President Ilham Aliyev's decree. The film tells about the work of national leader Heydar Aliyev in both periods of his leadership in Azerbaijan.

After the speech, the students watched the documentary "The Great Leader".
