4th year students majoring in social work at Azerbaijan University are doing pre-diploma internship at the Boccia International Sports Federation. The students during trainings assist the athletes of the national from 5 categories and learn their problems in non-workout hours and try to find a way out.

The internship is to be completed on May 24th, 2022. The number of the students doing internship at the federation is 16.

Note that Boccia as a kind of sport was included in the program of the Paralympic Games. The Azerbaijan National Paralympic Committee has started promoting it since 2013 and established a National Boccia Team. The Boccia International Sports Federation was established in 2018. Children, youth and adults with severe disabilities can try their hand in this sport which new for the Azerbaijani sport.
