Vice-Rector for Science of Azerbaijan University Yusif Gasimov will hold a seminar at the International Mathematics School in Izmir, Turkey, which will be organized by International Centre for Pure and Applied Mathematics (CIMPA - Centre Internatıonal de Mathématıques Pures et Applıquées). The seminar  will consist of 3 lectures each lasting 80 minutes. Yusif Gasimov will acquaint  the seminar participants with the latest results that he achieved in the field of optimization according to the form.

CIMPA, based in central France, organizes schools in various areas of mathematics for young researchers from different parts of the world as part of its “CIMPA Schools” project. Famous scientists from all over the world are invited to these schools. The next school started on October 27 in “Nesin Mathematics Village”, located in  Shirince area of Izmir. Scientists from France, Azerbaijan, Iraq and Morocco are invited to “West Asia Mathematical School”, which will last until November 3. The listeners of the seminars are young researchers from different countries of West Asia.
