Memorandum on cooperation was signed between Azerbaijan University and “Social support for persons with disabilities” Public Union. The memorandum reflects issues of developing scientific-practical relations in the field of social services, establishing cooperation relations that meet requirements of the modern era and serve general public interests.

In order to provide information in the field of social service and organization of integration of persons with disabilities into society, it is envisaged by the Public Union to organize trainings within the framework of Memorandum for students of Azerbaijan University studying in the specialties of Social Work, Social-Psychological Service in Education, Social work in various fields of life and Youth work. 

The parties will also cooperate in the organization of production and research practice programs in relevant fields, as well as appropriate refresher trainings in Public Union for the University bachelor's, master's and doctoral levels students majoring in Social Work, Social-Psychological Service in Education, Social work in various fields of life and Youth work.

The memorandum also provides for such areas of cooperation as organization of scientific events and lectures on social work at international and national level as conferences, seminars, symposiums, development and implementation of joint social projects. 

In addition, the parties will cooperate in other areas of social service that are of interest to both parties and are of public importance.

It should be noted that Azerbaijan University has previously signed a memorandum with the Social Services Agency under the Ministry of Labour and Social Protection of population, Hopeful Future Public Union and JOY Center for Child Development in the relevant fields.
