A training on “Travel insurance” was held at the Business and Economics Faculty of the Azerbaijan University for students majoring in tourism. The training was conducted by the employees of “Pasha Insurance”, one of the leading companies in the insurance services market of Azerbaijan, which closely cooperates with local educational institutions in order to increase the insurance knowledge of young people. 

Aysel Makhmudova, a specialist of the company's Human Resources Department, stressed the importance of educational events on insurance services and presented the training topics and trainers to the students. 

Rafael Guliyev, the company's lawyer informed the participants about the insurance legislation. Rafael Guliyev's speech covered such topics as the areas of insurance, object and subject of insurance, insurance contract and its contents, obligations of the parties, insured event, notification of an insured event, insurance payout, refusal to provide insurance payout. 

Farid Abilov, the specialist of the travel insurance department informed the students about the types of travel insurance, their differences from health insurance, travel insurance criteria, travel insurance details, travel insurance tariffs and conditions, insurance coverage options, types of services included in insurance, and other topics. 

The training, which ended with answers to questions of interest to students, was organized jointly by the departments of Economics&Management and Finance&Accounting.
