Collective monograph by a group of employees of Azerbaijan University titled “A man whose heart quivered for the Motherland” is published

Collective monograph by a group of employees of Azerbaijan University titled “A man whose heart quivered for the Motherland” has seen the light of day. The work dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the birth of the national leader Heydar Aliyev was prepared at the Department of Political Sciences of the University. 

In the monograph, consisting of four chapters, the life, activities, internal and foreign policy of founder of the Azerbaijani state, prominent political and statesman Heydar Aliyev are covered by both Azerbaijani scientists and researchers from Turkey, Russia, Cyprus, Iraq and Egypt. The first chapter, entitled “Heydar Aliyev – the ideology of independence of Azerbaijan”, examines the rich life path of the great leader, his idea of national statehood and all stages of his exceptional activity.

The second chapter of the monograph titled “Heydar Aliyev's policy is the basis of Azerbaijan's success” is devoted to the domestic policy of the founder of our national development strategy, Heydar Aliyev, who has great merits in the formation of a democratic society, building a state of law in our country.

The third chapter is entitled "Heydar Aliyev and national values". In this chapter, the rich and multifaceted heritage of the great leader, the ideology of azerbaijanism, which is the national treasure of our people, has been extensively studied.

The last, fourth chapter examines the foreign policy of Heydar Aliyev, who stood on a par with the most influential politicians of his time and played an exceptional role in gaining a worthy position of our country in the system of international relations. 

The monograph was published under the scientific editorship of head of the Department of Azerbaijan State Pedagogical University, Doctor of Historical Sciences Sevinj Aliyeva and head of the Department of Azerbaijan University, Doctor of Philosophy in Political Sciences Elvin Talyshinsky.
