Azerbaijan University students visited the SPECA exhibition
Students of the Faculty of Business and Economics of Azerbaijan University majoring in Tourism management and Tour guiding visited the “SPECA Countries Exhibition: Regional Cooperation for Sustainable Development” held at the Baku Expo Center within the framework of the UN special program for the economies of Central Asian countries – the SPECA week. Students got acquainted with the stands set up at the exhibition and received information about products and equipment.
It should be noted that the exhibition, held on the special initiative of Azerbaijan, was organized on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the establishment of SPECA. The Azerbaijan stand of the exhibition demonstrates its economic development, industry, agriculture, digital development and innovations, transport infrastructure and transit freight, energy, defense industry, tourism, state support for the development of entrepreneurship, Alat free economic zone, the work done on the implementation of the “1st State program on the Great Return to the liberated territories of the Republic of Azerbaijan”, as well as a special stand dedicated to the national leader Heydar Aliyev. Other member countries of SPECA - Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan are also represented by a stand. The purpose of the exhibition is to demonstrate the economic potential of the participating countries, jointly discuss the possibilities of mutually beneficial partnership and strengthen regional economic cooperation between member states.
