A webinar dedicated to the International Day of Families was organized by the Empathy Club, which operates within the Department of Social Work. The webinar was opened by the chairman of the club, Shalan Novruzov, a second-year master's student majoring in youth affairs, who introduced the participants to the agenda. The chairman of the club stated that the International Day of Families has been celebrated since 1994 in accordance with the resolution of the UN General Assembly. Azerbaijan has joined this tradition since 2008. The promotion serves to draw people's attention to the solution of family problems.

Professor Elkhan Baylarov, Head of the Department for Talented Children of the Institute of Education of the Republic of Azerbaijan, delivered a speech on "Family values - errors considered correct".

Master's students majoring in youth affairs Farah Majidzadeh spoke on the theme “Experience of public managers in family management” and Shalan Novruzov on “Preparation of young people for marriage”, the guest of the event, a student of the Azerbaijan State University of Oil and Industry Ofelya Javadova spoke on "My first step in building a family life."

The results of the survey "Attitudes of young people to marriage" were also presented at the webinar.

Aynur Bunyatzadeh, a teacher at the Department of Social Work, concluded the webinar with a presentation on "7 principles of strong family relationships."
