The first trainings on the international program ICB “Certificate in Advanced Bookkeeping” organized for students of the Faculty of Business and Economics within the framework of the memorandum of cooperation signed between Azerbaijan University and the Association of Professional Financial Managers of Azerbaijan (APFM), have been completed. The trainings were conducted by Afgan Safarli, a member of the APFM Education Committee, under the organization of the Finance Academy accredited by the APFM.

An exam was held at the end of the 3 months training. 6 students who showed successful results in the exam were awarded the international accountant certificate issued by ICB Global. Khanym Guliyeva, Dean of the Faculty of Business and Economics, Nuriya Novruzova, Chairman of the Management Board of APFM and trainer Afgan Safarli took part in the certificate awarding ceremony.

It should be noted that the program is an accounting program that takes into account international standards and covers basic knowledge. The peculiarity of the program is that the teaching and examination are held in the Azerbaijani language. Students who have obtained a passing score receive ICB Global International Certificate. This internationally recognized certificate gives students and graduates a great advantage when looking for a job.
